JAM SA’s Red Riders feed nearly 130 kids

Team Red Bowl and JAM SA’s 94.7 cycling team, the Red Riders, collectively raised enough money to secure the feeding of nearly 130 children for an entire year.

2013 was the first year that JAM SA entered a team to participate in the Momentum 94.7 Cycle Challenge, which takes place through the streets of Johannesburg every year.

Besides the honour of wearing the red, black and white team cycling shirt, generously sponsored by Liqui Moly, each Red Rider pledged to try and raise at least R1 000 in the lead up to race day. Thanks to a number of sponsors, we were also able to give each rider a goodie pack full of essentials for race day and the day after!

Team Red Bowl and JAM SA is so proud of each and every one of our 28 Red Riders who tackled the 94.7 cycle race in the blazing heat of a South African summer. We hope that you’ll be willing to ride for our purpose again next year.
