Africa is brimming with potential to become the world’s next economic powerhouse. However, it is still plagued by high levels of poverty, disease, and limited life expectancy rates. The continent’s abundant natural resources are under utilised, resulting in little or declining development. JAM has identified the need and opportunity to develop sustainable agricultural structures and practices to help Africa build its own future. Many communities where JAM works in Mozambique, Angola, and South Sudan have joined hands with JAM to create hope and a sustainable future for themselves. An article in the Mail and Guardian, further discusses the potential to increase food production and drive prosperity.
