We are excited to share the great news that JAM’s Founders, Peter and Ann Pretorius have been selected from multiple nominees worldwide, as one of five finalists for the sought-after International Award, the 2014 Humanitarian of the Year Award, to be presented by Aidex in Brussels next month. This award was launched to recognise and celebrate individuals from any area of the global humanitarian and development aid community that have distinguished themselves as role models and agents of positive change.
AidEx was created to help the international aid and development community engage the private sector on a neutral setting, drive innovation and support the ever-growing need for emergency aid and development programmes to be as efficient as possible.
This award would ultimately expand our network to continue inspiring partnerships in poverty alleviation as we continue Helping Africa help itself. This nomination is particularly timely as JAM celebrates its 30th Anniversary this year and the successful fulfillment of our goal to feed more than a million children each school day.
Voting will determine who wins: To vote for Peter and Ann, please click on this link (one vote per person/email address is counted).
Please send this link to your friends, family and networks so we can get as many votes as possible. Voting closes on Monday 27 October 2014.
